The challenge was to create a bold, fun, and energetic brand identity for a malatang restaurant that serves customizable bowls to young customers who are busy, tired of pre-packaged meals, and craving a flavorful escape from their daily routine.

Mala Magic was born. The radiating lines from the bowl in the logo symbolize the explosive power of flavor, evoking a magical taste sensation that captivates and excites. A high-saturation color palette reflects the heat and intensity of malatang, as well as the excitement of the customizable experience, while bold typography reinforces the brand’s visual impact and energetic tone.
